How do I make a reservation?

Click Here to make a reservation on our website, or you can make a reservation 24-hours a day by calling 1-800-456-1701. You may also download the Metro Cars app on the Apple or Android App Stores.

What is Metro Cars Cancellation Policy?

In the event you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled sedan or SUV pickup time. Please obtain a cancellation number from our Customer Service Representative or you may cancel your reservation online or with our mobile app.

Reservations not cancelled within 2 hour of the pickup time may be billed in full. In the event you are unable to locate your chauffeur or you require additional assistance, please contact a customer service representative at 800-456-1701, we are available 24/7.

If your flight is delayed, Metro Cars will make every attempt to reschedule the trip based on your new flight information if it was provided at the time of reservation. If you experience a flight delay or cancellation, please contact us at 800-456-1701 to confirm your new flight information.

Do I need a reservation?

To provide the best possible service, we strongly recommend making a reservation at least 3 hours in advance of your pickup time. If you’d like to request a ride within 3 hours of your pickup, please call our Reservation Center at 1-800-456-1701.

If you’re landing at the airport and would like to take a Metro Car without a reservation, follow the signs for “Ground Transportation” and speak to a Metro Cars representative at our kiosks.

Where do I meet my Driver at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)?

If you require assistance with your luggage or want the comfort of knowing that a specific driver will meet you upon your arrival, then you will be met in baggage claim by our professional chauffeur with a sign displaying your name. This Meet and Greet service requires a reservation in advance and flight information. This service is offered for a fee of $25.00.

If you do not require any assistance or do not need to go to baggage claim, simply follow the signs to the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) in each terminal where you will find the Metro Cars kiosk.  We will be there and at your service.

I did not receive a confirmation email for my online booking. Is my ride reserved?

After making an online reservation, a customer service representative will review your reservation and your confirmation will be sent to your email on file. If you do not receive a confirmation after 10 minutes please call 800-456-1701.

I need a receipt for my ride.

After your ride is completed, a receipt should be sent to the email address associated with your reservation. If you don’t receive a receipt, please login to your account and you will be able to find your ride history with receipts. If you’re unable to access your account, please call 800-456-1701 and provide your reservation number to the representative. If you did not have a reservation but took a ride from the airport, you will need to provide the representative with the day and time of your trip, the destination and the last four digits of the credit card that was used to pay for the ride.

Do you transport unaccompanied minors?

Yes, we allow minors 12 years of age or older to be transported without a parent or guardian. The guardian must completely fill out and return a waiver to us before the trip can take place. We will NOT transport a minor if the waiver is not complete - please notify us that you’re booking for an unaccompanied minor when you make your reservation.

Do you provide car seats or booster seats for children?

Because of the variety of needs for passengers of a young age, we do not supply car seats, but welcome you to bring your own. If you’re completing a round-trip with Metro Cars, we will store your seats for you and have them in the vehicle for your return trip.

Do you operate on holidays and late at night?

Metro Cars is at your service 24-hours a day. To ensure the best possible service, we always recommend making an advance reservation, but we’re always available to assist on short notice as well.

What airports do you service?

Metro Cars is the preferred transportation provider at the Detroit Metropolitan International Airport and the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
